Dark blue slipcase. 16 pages of lithographic plates reproducing contemporary prints and paintings, plus genealogical tables and maps. Less well known than their male counterparts, these women have left valuable documentation about the Civil War era through their diaries and letters. A 2" soft wrinkle a the fore-edge of the free front endpaper, tiny bump at the top of the front hinge. The slipcase has a small bump to one front edge, wear at a top rear corner, wrinkling at the top of the rear panel, an indentation to parts of one top side edge (see picture), very light rubbing on panels..
