On Aug 14 2023, a reader said:
So interesting! I met Ben Montgomery at a reading festival. He was a dynamic speaker and so I read the book and loved it. I then recommended it to several book groups. They loved it. I got him to come and speak to these groups as well. Fascinating story of a determined and strong woman who made a very difficult trip, hiking all the way from Georgia to Maine on what was then a newly laid out Appalachian Trail—at the age of 67! READ IT! You'll be awed by her accomplishment!
