np: Gallery in the Sun Publication , 1971. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st Edition, 4th printing, 1971. Signed, inscribed , and dated by author to owner. Olive cloth over boards. The panels have a new appearance. No writing. A tiny mark on one page - either from the artist's drawing tool or a manufacturer's mark. Minute corner tip wear and light spine ends' wear. Synopsis: This the fourth of five biographical sketches of his life which contains his life story, some of his famous artwork, a chronology of his life, and photographs of him, he and his wife, his gallery, and several pictures of him with Southwest Indians. Synopsis: Ettore "Ted" De Grazia was an impressionistic artist who is best know for his paintings of round-faced angelic Spanish and Southwestern Indian children. He said some of his paintings are completed but not done. The reader can observe what he meant by looking at the paintings in this book. Many people will remember the Indian children holding hands and dancing in a circle. UNICEF used this painting on a greeting card which became the catalyst for his successful career as a painter He used a black type of crayon-like material or marker for sketching. Perhaps he was in the midst of his work and used his favorite tool to sign his signature with an artist's flourish in this book.

Domestic Shipping : Shipping to USA is by U.S. post office media mail and based upon a book and its packaging weighing no more than 2.2 lbs. Extra books are $1.50 per book. It may take longer than the number of days listed to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or US possessions. Oversized, heavy, or multi-volume books will incur extra fees which will be determined before the book is shipped, and the customer will be informed if there are extra charges. Books are not shipped to post office boxes nor to freight forwarding agents/brokers or freight forwarding companies.
International Shipping (Expedited shipping, Priority Mail International): All books listed for sale internationally by our company are shipped by Priority Mail International in priority mail international boxes(small, medium, or large) and must fit into one of these 3 box sizes with adequate packaging or will not be shipped internationally. Books or ephemera usually arrive at the destination between 6- 15 days. The shipping fee will be determined when the book is ordered and before it is shipped. The shipping fee is based upon a book and its packaging weighing 3 lbs. Shipping fees may be reduced or increased before the book is shipped. The customer will be informed of any increased or reduced shipping fees before the book is shipped. The shipping fee is dependent upon the weight, size, and country of destination. . Books exceeding $190 are not shipped internationally. Taxes, duties, and any other fees will be the buyer's responsibility.
