Hardback small quarto, no jacket, very good condition, full-page colour drawings, black & white drawings, spine lightly faded, light foxing bottom edge last few pages. 55 pp. This children's picture story by Michael Page is about Donald MacDonald and his daughter Alice the girl bullocky, and Foxy Murphy and his son Young Wally, who had a bullock race between Swan Hill on the River Murray and the seaport of Robe in South Australia. The story of their adventures as they and their bullock teams contested the longest bullock race ever run in Australia. Illustrated by Robert Ingpen.
