From the Kroch's & Brentano's First Edition Circle, with their bookmark laid in. An autographed First Edition of the late Studs Terkel, described by John Kenneth Galbraith as "more than a writer, he is a national resource". Here Terkel again presents another oral history, profiling American lives from the perspective of the late 1980's. On the front endpaper Terkel has written "Peace, Studs Terkel". This is a really sharp copy; binding tight, clean & bright, with no creases, no tears & no markings. The dustjacket's also in excellent condition, clean & bright, with no creases or tears.
