About This Item

New York: George Braziller, (1968)., (1968).. Very good. - Quarto, 11-5/16 inches high by 8-3/8 inches wide. Hardcovers, bound in tan cloth titled in white on the front covers and on the spines, in pictorial white dust wrappers. The 3 volumes are housed in their original pictorial slipcase. The spines of the price-clipped dust jackets are slightly darkened with some minor stains. The edges of the slipcase are soiled and the case's pictorial label is foxed. Each volume consists of 223 pages, profusely illustrated in color and black & white. Very good.

First American edition.

"The French Drawings" was curated by Maurice Serullaz with the collaboration of Lise Duclaux and Genevieve Monnier. It was translated from the French by Victoria Benedict.

"The Italian Drawings" was curated by Roseline Bacou with the collaboration of Francoise Viatte. It was translated from the French by Victoria Benedict.

"The German, Flemish and Dutch Drawings" was curated by Roseline Bacou with the collaboration of Arlette Calvet. It was translated from the French by Marguerite Hugo.
