Cerf believed they will live forever and will be remembered when longer works by the same authors may be lost in time. Five are English Stories and seven are American Stories. A 480 page work that was published at the beginning of World War II now more than eighty years ago; Cerf's selections have met the test of time so far. There is age toning inside the front and back covers. Page tops have gray color, wear along the spines. All in all, given its age, it is in quite nice condition. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
