Large 8vo in orange cloth backed, green cloth covered boards, black lettering to spine, 448pp, index. The first book illustrated by Janice Biala (Ford's partner until his death in 1939), with a colour frontispiece and numerous line drawings in the text __CONDITION : An uncommonly well preserved near FINE very clean and tight unmarked copy (hint of rub to head of spine and cover corner tips, pages very slightly tanned) in a tanned and lightly edge-chipped but otherwise complete VERY GOOD Dust Jacket (chips have been artfully disguised with loose black paper backing, looks fine in its removable transparent protector). __NOTE.
