Top textblock edge dyed green. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is darkened. Minor wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have light edgewear with tears and creases. Visible wear marks to spine and panels.

The early twentieth century artist painted murals, portraits in and also designed theatrical costumes. The artist died in the second world war. Undated. Dated using JISC from a copy held at the libraries of University College of London. In the publisher's original green cloth binding, found in the unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely. Very lightly bumped to the head and tail of the spine, with a little discolouration of the cloth to the spine.
