About This Item
Each platinum print is made from a negative of an Evans photograph and is docketed on verso with Evans title and original date. Tice's photographer's stamp also shows on two of four prints. The numbered working prints correspond to the photographs in the portfolio Tice produced for the Lee Witkin Gallery, "Ten Photographs," New York: Witkin Gallery, 1971. Each photograph is numbered, titled, and several include comments. The Evans' photographs are: "2. New Forest, 1893 Color OK". "4. Hedgerow Study Circa 1890"; "7. Kelmscott Manor: Thro' A Window in the Tapestry Room, 1896 (Color OK)" "10. Redlands Woods, 1893.
