There is a major chapter on rural fire control. Descriptions are given of 101 exotic and native species. The book has been written to provide farmers, other land owners, local government staff and students with a concise, technically accurate, simply-written account of the pleasures and benefits which come from suitable tree plantings , together with the information necessary to make such plantings a success. A complementary volume to 'Forest Trees of Australia'.
