Collectible; Very Good. 1930 1st edition of this lavish examination of the Guelph Treasure, including 107 gravure plates at the rear. Still-tight and VG in its half-blue morocco over gray boards. Bright gilt-lettering at the front panel and spine, which shows light soiling along the morocco and very light scuffing and wear along the spine ends. Folio, 218 pgs. plus plates, top-edge gilt. Beautiful full-color frontispiece (with its original tissue-guard), "The Paten of Saint Bernward"
