Paris, France: Flammarion, 1947. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Ernest Flammarion. This book, from which five hundred copies on madagascar paper, numbered from 1 to 500, was printed on the press on November 19th. 1947. Blue lettering & gilt & blue spine & cover double hinge-like decorations on cream color paper(?) covered boards. The ends of the hinge-like decorations show the ends of thin leather straps (which I did not try to pull out). The book is written in French. Contents are: Printemps by Andre Gide; Ete, by Jules Romaines; Automne by Colette; and Giver by Francois Mauriac. 10-1/2" X 8", 24 beautiful color plates. Spine ends worn, contents fine.
