Red cloth, spine lettered in gilt, blind-stamped facsimile initials 'T.H.W.' to upper board. Top edge black. Illustrated endpapers. Pushing to spine ends, a few fox spots to leading edge, PO gift inscription to recto of frontis, else, clean and tidy. In the original dust jacket: spine gently sunned, wear to joints and edges, a few chips to spine ends and corners. Still, a pleasing copy of Warner's only foray into biography. Very good/ very good
