Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) Script Department, 1960. First Edition. Trade Paperback. 41 mimeographed typed pp., printed recto only, in black. 8.5 x 14 inches. Al Purdy (1918-2000) was primarily recognized as a poet, called by the League of Canadian Poets 'The Voice of the Land.' He was also a playwright working with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Signed by the author on title page with additional ink notes. Holograph corrections and notes in text. First edition (first printing). Very good copy. Tanning to title page. Last leaf wrinkled.
