First edition, 4to, pp. 18, 1436, [1], 145 (alphabetical index); text in Chinese, in double column; full blue cloth, gilt title on cover and spine; upper hinge cracked, edges a touch spotted, else very good, in very good slip case with lower seam starting to split. Hailu is a dialect of Hakka spoken in Northern Taiwan and Shanwei, China. It is the second largest Hakka dialect spoken in Taiwan.
