About This Item
New York: D. Appleton, 1911. Three volumes, all the First American Edition, issued in different years: "Ave" (1911), "Salve" (1912), and "Vale" (1914). Together these constitute one of the major works of George Augustus Moore (1852-1933) - a gossipy memoir of Dublin during the Irish Literary Renaissance that alienated many of his friends and relations. Very Good to Near Fine in condition. Dark green cloth bindings with gilt lettering. Lightly used; "Ave" shows a bit more wear than the others and is less bright. Clean text. A very nice set, presented in archival plastic protectors. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
