Zurich: Bernhard Tauchnitz, 1912. The Irish novelist George Moore (1852-1933) was a prominent "realistic" writer who is often cited as an influence on James Joyce This is the Copyright Edition of one of his best-known works, from 1912, in Very Good condition. Two copies only ["Ave" and "Vale"] of the full 3-volume set. Marbled paper-covered boards with tips and spine in green cloth; Clean text; 343 pages and 342 pages. The front paste-down has a previous-owner signature. There is also one on the first endpaper, which is in a different hans. Lightly bumped and rubbed at the margins; top dusty.. First Thus. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
