About This Item

New York: Longmans, Green, and Co., 1911. Book. Very good- condition. Hardcover. First Edition. Octavo (8vo). xii, 236 pages of text including an index. Original blue hardcover binding is rubbed at the extremities, with a minor cup ring on the front cover, and other minor shelfwear. No dustjacket, but protected in custom-fitted archival mylar. The front inner hinge is weakened. There is moderate to heavy soiling and staining scattered throughout the text, most of which is in the margins, but some of which is in the text.
