London: J. Davy & Sons, 1865. Decorative Cloth. Good/No Jacket. ISigned by Author(s). Signed by Author(s) Authoritative Text illustrated with the Marks. Comes with a very interesting letter answering a question about Marrow Spoons, SIGNED W. Chaffers. Brown Textured cloth Cover with blind-stamped Decoration to front & back. Gilt Lettering to front & spine. 88 Pages, 360g, 10" Tall. Lower Quarter of cloth backstrip missing from spine (removing most of the "H" from Hall Marks) and a small bit missing from top of spine. Tips of fore corners worn. 3 small closed tears to cloth at right side of spine. Previous owner's name on endpaper, dared 1869, above an amusing newpaper cutting. The Signed letter (text covering both sides) is tipped in on the free endpaper. Illustrations of Monograms pasted on rear endpaper. Hand written note referring to silver at top of title page. Small tear in preface page and a small closed tear in fore margin of 2 pages. A few penciled marginal marks on a few pages (one mark in ink). No marks or inscriptions on the text. Paper a little age darkened. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall
