About This Item
New York: D. Van Nostrand, 1936. Flexible pebbled covers (often called "leatherette"), very dark red, almost black with very bright and clear gilt lettering to spine, without dust jacket, ix + 1010 pages including uncountable black-and-white illustrations in numerous formats including tables, figures, charts, detailed drawings and photographs; very gently used, only tiny traces of shelf wear along cover edges, all pages very clean and unmarked except for a brief notation on the title page referring to page 61 where there are a couple of chicken scratches, overall a remarkably well preserved copy. [this copy priced low, priced to go to a good home as bookseller is nearing retirement, but extra S & H at cost will be requested] . . Hard Cover. Very Good ++.
