Text includes: Implements & Materials; Textile Fabrics used as Grounds (including Satins & Silks, Plain Tapestries & Cloths of Gold & Silver) ; Stitches ( including Feather Stitch & Twisted Chain ); Frames & Framing; Stitches Used in Frame Embroidery (including Gold Embroidery, Opus Angelicum, Japanese Stitch & Persian Cross-Stitch). Pale Green paper-covered boards illustrated with vignettes of Craftspeople at work. Black Endpapers. All page edges Gilt. Title Page dated 1880. 106 Pages, 270g, 8 1/4" Tall. Small very light stain in bottom left corner of cover. Cover has some edge wear and a few chips around edges. Penciled note on half-title page referring to the illustrations. No other inscriptions. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
