David Douglas, Edinburgh, 1898. First edition. 403 plates and illustrations. 8vo (8 7/8 x 5 3/4 inches), pages: xx:(1):438:(2). Original green pebble grain cloth; some rubbing to binding, headbands bruised, inner hinges cracked but holding well. Upper blank fore-corner of title with tear, upper blank fore-corner of preface torn away. Internally very good and clean.
