Second half of book is unopened (spine rustles from never being opened). Pages glossy and thick but lightly tanning at edges. Gift inscription. With sturdy square binding. Dark pink-red covers neat & clean with light surface scrapes. Spine head and tail with a few frayed spots. Silver gilt to spine still bright and fresh.
