John Murray, 1878. Eighth Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. With many revisions since the first edition of 1853. Presentable, tight and sound copy. Neatly repaired with the original spine relaid over new. Original publisher's hardcover binding - red cloth gilt lettered. Usual wear to extremities, spine a little faded. No inscriptions. The large map in the rear pocket has been repaired with, I think, archival tape. xlvii + 448 pages, further 76 pages of adverts at rear, maps and plans ( correct as per list, inc. map in rear pocket, also in rear pocket a folding plan of Naples from a different publication ).
