About This Item
Oxford Clarenden Press, 1969. Hardcover. Very Good Plus/Very Good. Great piece! This is the 1969 Handbook to the University of Oxford that was previously owned by the Dean of Lynchburg College in Virginia. This book was bought at his Estate Sale in Lynchburg. Book is signed by James A. Huston and then he has written "Oxford 2 Sept 1969" under his name. Dr. Huston had an extensive Educational Career, which included attendance at Oxford. He also served in World War II as an Army Infantry Officer in Europe to include the Battle of the Bulge. He finished his career as the long time Dean of Lynchburg College and died at the age of 98 in 2017. Hardback Book with Dust Jacket of 460 pages is in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book appears to have had little use. Outside cloth covers with gold gilded printing are very nice. Dust Jacket is very nice with some minor soiling and edge chipping and is now covered by a new clear mylar cover.
