The biography of Roger Arnett, a champion track runner who experienced a car accident leaving him paralyzed - and his courageous battles with infection and challenges to get around and try to live a normal life, ultimately founding a family, breeding several new varieties of gladioli, and becoming a minister to serve the disabled and others. Hardcover with dust jacket, 278pp., d.j. shows one small chip to top of rear panel. A nice copy, the jacket neatly encased in an acid-free archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
