New York: Russell Sage Foundation, 1937. This is a fine hardcover copy in a very good dust jacket with a tiny repaired chip to the lower edge of the front panel. Signed by the author, Allen Eaton, with an inscription to someone at the publishing house, dated September 22, 1937. First edition with the dust jacket price of $3.00 on the inside lower corner of the front flap. Completely clean inside and out. 58 beautiful black & white photogravure plates by Doris Ulmann. Also color plates of decorative arts from the Southern Highlands. Scarce in the dust jacket, and still more so signed. 9" high X 6" wide, 370. A beautiful copy. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking. . Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good.
