About This Item
New York: A.L. Burt Company Publishers The fourth title in the "Gray Phantom" series by Herman Lanson (1882-1960). Hubin, p. 245. First published by Watt in 1924; this is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the reprint edition. The First is scarce; this edition itself is uncommon. Green cloth binding with two very creepy clutching hands in black on the front cover; titling in black on the spine. Clean text; viii, 303 pages, with a nine-page publisher advert in the rear. Lightly rubbed at the margins, and would be graded considerably higher if there were not several "dings" to the front cover, which have telegraphed through to the first endpaper. Despite this flaw, the book presents very well and would be an acceptable addition. In an archival plastic protector.. Reprint Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
