About This Item
New York, 1920. Letter. Very good. 4p. letter: My dear Eunice, I called up the Hospital soon after I reached home and found that Miss Maxwell would prefer a personal interview but would not be home until October. Can you meet me this Saturday in the morning. Take the subway to 42nd St. and then the Madison ave. car which will take you to the door at 70th St. and Madison Ave. I will meet you there at about 11:30 am. Go in up the steps and you will find a settee facing the door, wait for me there: If you cannot come and want to write me, send letter the following address: 103 E 86th St. to Mrs. J. W. Lapsley. I am on duty at this address so that is the reason I am meeting you at the Hospital. Your age will be all right and they could not accept you until next September which is what you wanted. If this is not satisfactory will try and arrange a later date. Very Sincerely, Carolyn Stryker.
