Chapter references and notes, bibliography, index. Peach leatherette. A very fine copy with pictorial dust jacket. An excellent work on this little-known outlaw in the Pacific Northwest. Vaughan was Tom McCarty's brother-in-law. The relationship of the two of them, previous to McCarty's association with Butch Cassidy, extended "over Oregon, Idaho and Washington Territories" and "included everything from stealing horses to robbing banks.".

The Argonaut was a founding member of the Antiquarian Booksellers\' Association of America and has been a member in good standing ever since. The Shop is now located just three blocks from Union Square in downtown San Francisco and is open six days a week. Parking facilities include ample street space and a parking garage close by.
