Nicely illustrated vintage copy of "HANS BRINKER - or, The Silver Skates" by Mary Mapes Dodge. 1924; Harper and Brothers; New York. The book features a color frontispiece, full-page color plates, and black & white illustrations throughout (many of which are full-page) by Louis Rhead.
Condition:
The gilt lettering on the spine has faded a bit; the bottom edge of the spine is worn; small cloth tears at the bottom 2 corner tips. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. The pages are mostly clean, though there are occasional smudges to random pages here and there. There is an old name written in pencil on the front end papers. There is a small, orange stain spot near the spine at the top edge of the text block. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.
