NY: Ivan Obolensky, 1961. Gorey, Edward. First edition. "An undiluted tragedy with a generous population of foul Small Creatures and a wickedly pleasurable Surprise for non-admirers of Miss Burnett." Generic shelfwear and fading, to edges and spine, else very good in wrappers. Together with a copy of the 1989 reissue by Peter Weed. This signed by Gorey. Some rubbing to extremities of book, else near fine. In original purple dust wrapper, which shows some shelf-toning and rubbing and is price-clipped. (Toledano A8).
