About This Item
New York: Haper & Brothers, 1855. Hardcover. Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. Fifty two engravings with accompanying vignettes. Covers are blindstamped maroon cloth gilt title on spine, wear to tips and extremities, staining to lower edge of covers seeping through to last page where you have a small mark at edge. Yellow end sheets show a greying discoloration. Internally mull visible after ffep but tight, previous owner's name on verso of front end sheet.
