Klaus Groh studied art education and art history and received his doctorate as Dr. phil. at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg with the topic "The new DaDaism on the American west coast" (Maro-Verlag, Augsburg)
Groh headed the Micro Hall Art Center and the Kleinkunstbühne Literaturium from 1971 to 2006 and the IAC (International Artists' Cooperation) from 1969 to 1990. He was the editor of the IAC information sheet "IAC-INFO", a forerunner of many Mail Art Letters and today's network.
