This uncommon volume contains a wealth of statistical information on every city, town, and village in Britain and Ireland These despatches published by Harrod's offer a wealth of historical information including details about the post offices, telegraph offices, railway stations, and populations of every city, town, and village in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Harrods is a famous department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London. Currently owned by the state of Qatar via its sovereign wealth fund, the business was originally established by Charles Henry Harrod in 1824. With three pages of Harrod's adverts to the rear, including a list of departments, and their terms of business. Undated. Dated using JISC from a comparable copy held at the British Library. In the publisher's original red cloth binding. Externally, generally sound. Rubbed to the boards and spine. The cloth is torn along the rear joint, and torn to halfway down the front joint. Bumped to the head and tail of the spine, with some wear to the extremities. Front hinge starting, and a little tender. Internally, generally firmly bound. A little foxed to the endpapers, but pages are otherwise bright and clean. Fair
