First Edition 1950. The copy offered by us is from the library of Andrew Carr Mackenzie. (1911–2001) journalist, novelist and parapsychologist who was a writer of detective fiction and vice president of the Society for Psychical Research. Good/ Poor (Book- Moderate shelf wear at extremities and some residue to front panel from cellotape applied to the dus jacket, top edge dust spotted and mild foxing to fore edge of book block. No previous owner name or insc. Dust Jacket- significant loss - mainly to head and tail of spine of up to 20 mm in depth and old style cellotape to front panel causing browning to same and front flap fold, non price clipped - cover 15/- Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve to which pieces of coloured paper have been inserted to mask the stark white of the backing paper so as not to offend the eye on the bookshelf).
