Boston: Cupples, Upham, and Company, 1886. Cloth. Very Good -. The uncommon 1886 original printing. Solid and VG- in its dark cloth, with notable splotching along the spine and light wear along its crown. Rear inner hinge with narrow splitting but still holding firmly. Handsome armorial bookplate (R. Godon Barr) at the front pastedown, otherwise very clean internally, with no writing, markings or foxing to speak of. Thick octavo, top-edge gilt, 407 pgs.
