About This Item

Madison: University of Wisconsin Press, 1968. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Near Fine. 8vo. xvii+427pp. First edition. Ex-library copy. Full grey cloth softened/worn at spine ends and tips, with book boards just showing through at corners. Bump/crease to bottom rear board corner has left cloth slightly bubbled. Spine lightly shaken. Only ex-library indicators are as follows: partial "withdrawn" stamp and abrasion from removal of pocket on front free end paper, small library stamp at base of title page. Unclipped "$6.95" jacket shows light wear at spine ends and tips, with no ex-library indicators whatsoever. A reasonably nice copy of this uncommon hardcover edition of Kristensen's 1930 landmark of Danish literature, translated by Carl Malmberg with an introduction by Borge Gedso Madsen.
