London: The Cresset Press, 1929 xxxii, 123 pp with large folding chart of the breeds of hawk bound in before text. A limited edition reissue of Richard Blome's treatice on hawking published in 1686. Hand numbered 546 of an edition of 650 printed on handmade stock, top edges gilt. A loose illustration, possibly a copy of the original title page, is laid in. Text is clean, tight and unmarked, larked charge is uintact but has a dogear. Tan vellum boards with cream calf spine, gold-stamped titles to spine. Spine darkened. Richard Blome (1635-1705) was an English engraver, cartographer, and publisher.. Edition of 650. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Slender Octavo.
