Hardback octavo, dustjacket, very good condition (in very good dustjacket), black & white photos, reverse side jacket lightly foxed (minor edgewear). 254 pp. The author tells the story of a Boston shoeshine boy who settled in Australia and was awarded an OBE. A chemist who became a Broadway star, and turned his attention to acting and went on to found Sydney's Ensemble Theatre. First edition stated.
