Editio altera, "emendata & additamentis locupletat," 4to, pp. [8], 171, [2]; *4 A-Y4; woodcut printer's device, initials, and head- and tail-pieces; engraved folding plate depicting ten instruments used in chemical experiments (the author being a professor of chemistry at the University of Leiden), including two that look like quite complicated bellows; 19th-century sheep-backed marbled boards, modern gilt to spine foot; spine mostly perished, front joint exposed, boards quite rubbed and worn, top half of lower hinge cracked; supplied endpapers; textblock fine. OCLC does not locate any copies in North America as of October, 2013.
