About This Item
New York: Simon & Schuster, 1948. 1st ed. Hardcover. Fine. Albert Hurter. 1st ptg., Small folio, full gray cloth. Hurter's job at Disney was character design and this reproduces scads of his sketchbook pages with anywhere from one to 20 pencil images per page. Everything from concepts for Snow White to Three Little Pigs to what has been described as the prototype for Mr. Natural, plus some of the most surreal images you've yet to imagine. Fine in shabby, price-clipped dj, no previous owner's marks.
