First printing, Doubleday edition. 40 pp., frontis color ill. with tissue guard, 6 plates, 12mo, dark green buckram with white titles. Three Lincoln-related items laid in: full-page photocopy of letter from him to a war widow, 1864, photocopy of 1863 check for $5 to "Colored man, without leg", full-page reproduction of Gettysburg address with color decorations. Nearly Fine copy with very light wear to tips, some darkening of front endpaper due to bookplate.
