London: Methuen & Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1901. First Edition. Hardcover. Blue cloth titled in gilt. Front cover has gilted skulls design. Inscribed to ffep "For Cooper Cole with the author's regards Aug 10, 1906." The boards show mild rubbing/shelfwear and the corners are softened. The gutters and spine ends have been professionally repaired and the binding is tight. There are faint pencilled PO names to rear endpages and scattered foxing throughout. Includes frontis photo with tissue and numerous other truly interesting photographic plates. Scarce signed. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 426+ads pages; Signed by Author .
