London: Herbert Jenkins Limited, 1938 A very good copy of the 10th printing of Wodehouse's second collection of golfing stories from the 'Oldest Member'. In very good wrap. The book has a bright orange cloth binding with black titles. There is a very light mark on the front board next to the spine; light pull to spine ends; and a slight dark mark at the top corner of the back board. Light spotting to foredge. Contents very clean with light toning to paper. 4 pages of adverts at the rear with the most recent title being The Code of the Woosters. The wrap is in very good clean condition. The spine is lightly faded with a 5/- price. There are a couple of small edge tears at the top of the spine, slight wear at the folds and odd light edge nibble. From the book listings, it is circa 1940 (Quick Service priced at 7/6).
