Greensboro, (North Carolina): C. F. Thomas, Book and Job Printer, 1883. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair. 8vo. 205, (1) pages with an advertising leaf for the Greensboro Law School. Hardcover bound in green cloth. The binding is quite worn. The top third of the spine is lacking. The front cover near the spine shows damping and the rear cover shows heavy damping and damage around the perimeter of the cover. The front two flyleaves are damped at the very top. The first couple of leaves of text are starting at the gutter. Text is toned. This is NOT a book of Hebrew poetry. It is a book about Hebrew poetry. The Hon. Robert P. Dick (1823-1898) was a U.S. District Judge and was a Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court. He founded the Dick and Dillard Law School with John H Dillard in Greensboro, North Carolina. Between 1878 and 1893 they trained 300 lawyers in Greensboro.
