Lovely first edition of an early Sendak children's book. Top dust jacket corner has original printed price of $4.25. Lower corner flap states 40-80 and 1165 indicating original date of publication, opposite that, it is corner clipped. Book is in near fine condition with some bumping to spine ends and some minor soiling on back boards. Pages are bright and clean. No interior markings or bookplates. Dust Jacket is in VG condition with some chipping and soiling to spine and soiling to back cover. In protective mylar cover. Priced to sell!
