Carbondale: Southern Illinois University Press, 1992. First Edition (NAP) . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Photographs. Bound in black cloth with spine titles stamped in silver. No additional printings, indicating the first edition. Inscribed and signed by the author on the front free endpaper, otherwise unmarked. The cloth has a faint fade line 1/8" wide along the lower margin of the front cover; no other flaws. The dust wrapper shows a faint tidemark 1" wide to the lower edge of the rear panel as the only flaw; no rips, chips or clips. The book was not affected. A clean, tight copy with the jacket now in mylar.
