About This Item
Pan-O-Matt Associates, 1950s. Very Good Plus. First Editions/printings, c. 1950s, stapled softcover 8vo, approx. 32pp, b/w throughout, color wrappers. Vintage adult digest magazines featuring glamour photography of nude female models, often packaged as a "study guide" for the amateur photographer/artist, and often with technical data for guidance and even centerfolds. Most featured just the cover model or cover model plus others. Hundreds of similar digest magazines were produced by pop-up operations in the 1950s, around New York, Chicago and California. Prior digest examples used airbrush ("retouched") techniques rolled over from nudist magazines, much of the posing naturally obscuring otherwise censored areas. Very Good Plus overall, light rubbing and toning, faint spine stress, a few small scuffs, stains, small tears. For mature, consenting audiences.No. 2, 2 models. No. 3, 2 models. No. 4, 3 models including a woman from No. 2.
